This policy covers Swipe Baby Names, the couples baby-name matching app published by Iconics Studio (the “App”). The App was built to be private and offline-first. The short version: we don’t collect your personal data.
None that identifies you. The App has no login and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, and we do not operate analytics or advertising trackers. Everything you do in the App is processed entirely on your device.
This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the App.
Partner matching works completely offline: one phone shows a QR code that encodes its liked names, the other phone scans it, and the matches are computed locally on that device. The QR code is generated and read on your devices only — nothing is sent to us or any server.
The App asks for camera access for exactly one purpose — reading your partner’s QR code during offline matching. No photos or video are captured, stored, or uploaded, and the camera is never used outside the QR scanning screen.
If you choose to share or export your matches (as text, CSV, or PDF), the App hands the file to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is entirely under your control — we receive nothing.
The App is fully functional offline and makes no network requests. Names, meanings, origins, and pronunciations are bundled with the App itself.
The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, we’ll post the updated version on this page with a new date.
