Set your wake time in Settings. Arête wakes you with a gradual sunrise of light and sound, then guides you through a short breath-paced meditation, a reflection reading, and setting your six tasks for the day.
Make sure notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → Arête, your device isn’t in a Focus mode that silences it, and the volume is up. If you chose a song from your library, note that DRM-protected streams (e.g. Apple Music streams not downloaded for offline use) can’t be used as alarms — pick a downloaded or DRM-free track.
On your device, privately. Recordings are transcribed on-device so you can read them back; neither audio nor text ever leaves your phone.
Long-press any habit or goal to edit it, or add new ones from the + button. Your history stays on your device.
Yes — Arête ships with a Watch app and widgets so you can tick habits and check your six tasks from your wrist.
